Basic Law Drafting History Online (BLDHO) is an online resource providing information and materials from the drafting history of Hong Kong's constitution, The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. BLDHO is a joint project of the Centre for Comparative and Public Law and the HKU Libraries.

Four databases are currently available for free public access. DRAFTING MATERIALS houses a collection of almost 900 documents prepared or used by various official bodies and individuals from 1985 to 1990, when the Basic Law was drafted and promulgated, and from 1990 to 1997, when preparations were made for the resumption of sovereignty. NEWS COVERAGE provides access to newspaper articles on the meetings of the various official committees and sub-committees from 1985 to 1990. LEGCO DATABASE collects the relevant debates in Hong Kong's legislature from 1986 to 1991 concerning the Basic Law and drafting process. TEXTUAL HISTORY contains the various draft versions of each article in the Basic Law together with official commentary where available.
